About us:
We are a reliable cellular phone rental business in Chile. We were the first company renting cell phones and the only one that allows you to return them in any Santiago location and even in other chilean cities.
We are oriented to tourism and therefore work on a 24/7 basis.
We are actually offering Sony Ericsson W300i or VODAFONE similar phones.
Chile has great signal coverage, in all cities, most towns, an even some small villages. Our cell mobile phones work also in most important ski resorts, like Valle Nevado and Termas de Chillán, in sioalted locations like San Pedro de Atacama, and in Easter Island.
We are currently working with prepaid cellular mobile phones, which are very easy and convinient to use. Service is given by ENTEL (best signal coverage in Chile) We give in advance the number you will have in Chile along with usage instructions, so you can give this information at work and family or friends.
You may bring your own sim card (chip) and put it in our phones if you so desire, but just for you to know, in one side, we do not assure that it will work, and in the other our rental rates will not vary.
Rates and details of our cell mobile phone rental service:
- Daily rental price is US$ 4 / USD 15 weekly / USD 29 monthly
- You don’t have to pay for expensive ROAMING charges. Roaming charges are not only expensive, but you must know that they are charged on a minute basis and you pay for roaming for incoming and outgoing calls. - Language of our phones are in english
- We give in advance the cell mobile number you will have in Chile along with usage instructions. You may tell in your familay or at work, how can you be reached at no cost for you. (calling party pays)
- You may send and receive SMS (text messages). Please take note that this action does not always work, because of commercial agreements problems with other international cell mobile phonr companies.
- Our rental contracts are in english and spanish. They are simple, and with no small letters
- Outgoing calls are charged on a per second basis. 61 seconds are 61 seconds…not 2 minutes
- Delivery service rates depends on where and when service must be done (the cost per delivery is per service, not per phone).
Delivery prices:
- USD 9 any Santiago location
- USD 25 if delivery is done at the airport
- USD 10 additional charge in former prices, is service is done off office hours (that is between 7pm and 9am)
- For outgoing calls you will be charged at the following rates:
- USD 0.12 “per minute” for outgoing calls between our (or any) ENTEL cell mobile phones, and also to local land line phones.
- USD 0.55 per minute if you call another chilean cell mobile company, like Movistar, or Claro
- International calls are charged aprox at USD 1.15 the minute for USA and CANADA, and aprox USD 1.90 to most european countries (charged on a second basis)
