Itinerary
Day
1: Ushuaia, Argentina
The adventure begins in Ushuaia. At 14:30 check in at Albatros Hotel
in Ushuaia
- Day 2 a 3: Drake Passage (Paso Drake)
During the navigation through the famous Drake Passage you will notice
several seabirds as the wandering albatrosses, that will escort the
vessel, crossing this passage named in honour to Sir Francis Drake,
the 16th-century English navigator. The sailing will continue towards
the Antarctic Convergence, a biological barrier where cold polar waters
sink beneath the warmer waters of the more temperate zone.
- Day 4: King George Island (Isla Rey Jorge)
The first step in the route to the Antarctica (or Antartida) will be
King George Island, the island of the South Shetlands. First exploration
in Potter Bay. In the afternoon navigation until Aitcho Island, where
you will have the second exploration. Continue crossing the Bransfield
and Gerlache Straits to enter Andvord Bay where you will visit Neko
Bay.
Day
5: Antarctic Peninsula (Península Antartica) & Neko Bay
In the morning, the scenario you will see is outstanding. Mountains,
ice and snow. You are in Antarctica!. During all your stay you will
have the chance of watching a see wide variety of native wildlife: cape
petrel, the skuas, blue-eyed shags, gulls. You will never forget the
first time you see orcas or mink or humpback orcas. If you are lucky,
they will "dance" near the Cruise during all the time you
want to. Near the friendly ping√ins will run and jump playing
with the enemy (the orcas). The first landing in the Antartica in the
Continent will be in Neko Bay, discovered by Adiran de Gerlache. Then
you will land on Port Lockroy.
- Day 6: Pleneau - Petermann Island
Sailing in the beautiful and narrow Lemaire Channel whose high, sheer
cliffs suggest that no passage could be found. After passing the Lemaire
Channel, you will disembark in, according many people, one of the most
beautiful places in the World: the Peterman Island. Here you will visit
a colony of adelei penguins.
- Day 7: Paradise Bay - Cuverville Island
The last southern point in this voyage is Petermann Island. But don't
worry, the adventure goes on!. Today in the morning you will disembark
on Paradise Bay. Later afternoon, explore Cuverville Island, where you
will find the largest colony of Gentoo penguins and skuas. This rocky
island is on the north side of the Errera Channel, between Ronge Island
and the Arctowski Peninsula.
Day
8: Deception Island - Whaler's Bay -Pendulum Cove
In the morning, sailing to Deception Island the largest active volcano
in the area. Disembark in Whaler's Bay and Pendulum Cove where you can
live the unique experience of swimming in this water. In the afternoon
we will disembark at Hannah Point (Livingstone Island). This is one
of the best places in the Antarctic to see fauna and we should see Gentoo
penguins, giant petrels, Wilson petrels and skuas.
- Days 9 and 10: Drake Passage
Today, we will leave the Antarctic and head north back across the Drake
Passage. This is the perfect time to enjoy the delicious gastronomy
on board as you return to Ushuaia.
- Day 11: Ushuaia, Argentina
After and early breakfast we will land at 9:00 am. Thus ends an incredible
and unique expedition.

Rates & Season.
Rates are per passenger in American Dollars and include:
- √Accommodation according the selected cabin and deck
- √Full board (breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner)
- √ Use of library and fitness room and sauna
- √ Lectures on board
- √ Zodiac expedition
- √Medical attention on board
- Gasoline tax of US$ 30 per passenger per day is not included in the rate
- The excursions and day
trips described in the itineraries can normally be, and are frequently,
carried out. Without prejudice to the aforesaid, the Company reserve
the right to reschedule shorten or alter all or part of itineraries
and/or excursions without previous notice, in order to safeguard the
well being and safety of passengers, preserve the environment or due
to the extraordinary circumstances, acts of god or force majeure. In
view of the same reasons, the hours of departure or arrival of the vessels
may be subject to change.
